Barcelona president Joan Laporta has declared the Spanish Club's interest to sell Antoine Griezmann this summer.

The Spanish giants are in a financial situation that has left them needing to sell players in order to sign new players. Barcelona has reportedly agreed to a new deal with their star man Lionel Messi but will need to get some players off their wage bill in order to resign the Argentine.

Antoine Griezmann is part of the players the Catalan Club will look to get off their wage bill this summer. The Frenchman's £300,000 per week wage will free up substantial funds needed to complete Messi's deal.

Joan Laporta admitted that the club's willingness to sell the player is not for lack of love but for financial reasons.

Laporta also mentioned that Barcelona is financially delicate, and the Spanish club will need to find a financial equilibrium.

Antoine Griezmann's potential next destination

Earlier reports have suggested that Barcelona offered the French striker to Juventus in a swap deal involving Argentine Paulo Dybala. The 27-year-old Argentine has just one more year left on his current contract with the Old Lady and could be tempted by a possible Reunion with Lionel Messi.

Dybala suffered a dip in his form last season due to persistent injuries, with many believing the Argentine's injury problems one of the reasons the Old Ladies lost their grip on the Italian Serie A title.

Griezman has also been linked with a move back to Atletico Madrid, where reports say he is held in high esteem by Atletico's boss Diego Simeone. Spanish news outlets are claiming that Antoine Griezmann is only interested in reuniting with his old boss Simeone at Atletico Madrid.

Manchester City has also been linked with a move for Griezmann this summer.

Antoine Griezmann's potential destination remains Unknown, but it is clear Barcelona wants him out. Stay with Betpack to get all the updates on Griezmann's future.
