Following the walkout by PSG fans as they won the French Ligue 1, speculations have been rife of a philosophical falling out between Mauricio Pochettino and the hierarchy at the club. Reports suggest that a deal to ease the Argentine out of the club was in the works. All these, combined with the constant rumours of Mbappe leaving the club for Real Madrid, are enough to unsettle the club.

Despite this, Pochettino is confident he will still be at the helm at PSG next season. Pochettino also believes Mbappe will still fly the colours of PSG next season.

The PSG manager has come under the scrutiny of fans following their dismal results this season. Despite winning their eighth league title in the last ten years, the fans and top hierarchy of the club are not satisfied. Since their ouster from the Champions League, there has been unending speculation surrounding Pochettino’s future with PSG. New reports emerged of Antonio Conte suggested as a possible replacement for the former Tottenham manager.

Pochettino is adamant about being in charge of the club come next season. In an interview on Thursday, Pochettino boasted about his status with the club. He said he was 100% sure he would still be at the club next season.

Mbappe: between PSG and Real Madrid

Real Madrid continue to maintain calm in their bid to land Kylian Mbappe. Reports suggest there is a deal between Mbappe and Real Madrid, and it’s just a matter of time before its announcement.

In a recent interview where he boasted about his future, the Argentine claimed that Mbappe would still be a PSG player next season.

BBC reports that PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi had positive talks with the representatives of the Frenchman in Doha and is confident that Mbappe would remain a PSG player. He said he was absolutely sure the World Cup winner would renew his contract.

Although, odds from bookmakers seem to suggest that the Frenchman will likely leave the club this summer.
