Fans of Arsenal may be pleased with the improvement in the quality of players with whom they have been connected in recent months. Reportedly on, Nabil Fekir, James Maddison, and Ben White some of those names. Add to that a few potential stars likely to emerge at Euro 2020, and the future could look bright for all those who support Arsenal so passionately in the UK and globally.

Manuel Locatelli of Sassuolo is one such player who has been linked with a transfer to the Emirates, and it seems that he could be on his way to the Emirates later this summer. Several reports, including one from Goal, have looked into the possibility of a transfer to Arsenal, and the following remarks make it seem like he might be on the move after Italy's World Cup is over. However, he is very focused on EURO 2020, insomuch as he has been putting in scintillating performances for his country.

He brace of goals for Italy versus Switzerland has seen the big clubs across Europe, especially Juventus, sit up and take note, and if an offer from one of the big European clubs does materialise, he will have to think very carefully about the possibility of the move to Arsenal, despite the attraction that London holds for foreign players.

It makes perfect sense from an Italian perspective since it implies that he is completely focused on them and nothing else at this stage of the season, highlighted by his excellent performances in a strong Italian midfield. It also displays his discipline and work ethic, that he prefers to focus on his country ahead of all else, to assist them in possibly winning EURO 2020.

Arsenal will have to remain nimble and fluid in the coming weeks as more clubs will continue to take note of the midfielder the deeper they continue into the competition. A successful Euro campaign will add to the competition for his signature and will drive up the price that Sassuolo will be able to request for his transfer.
